Join the Beacon Sloop Club and help us do our important work.
The BSC is an all volunteer organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and celebrating the Hudson River.
We provide environmental education about and public access to the river and sponsor several waterfront events each year that draws thousands of visitors to the Beacon waterfront.
We maintain the 19th century replica Hudson River ferry sloop Woody Guthrie -- built by folk singer Pete Seeger -- and provide free public sails to over a thousand area residents, groups and organizations each year.
Boat owners may pay their mooring fee along with their membership. To reserve a mooring spot you must contact Ben Fiege: fiege.benjamin@gmail.com. Mooring fees are due by June 1.
Payment does not in itself guarantee a spot.
The Beacon Sloop Club is a 501 c(3) organization. All donations and membership fees are tax deductible.
