Want to Learn to Sail?

Are you a new boat owner,  thinking about joining one of our volunteer crews,

want a refresher, or just curious?

Taught by the Beacon Sloop Club's captains of the ferry sloop Woody Guthrie and former sloop Clearwater captain Betsy Garthwaite, this course provides all the basic knowledge that you need to begin sailing, with emphasis on the unique features of the Hudson River. 

Students will receive a copy of, Learn Sailing Right, from U.S. Sailing. Households wishing to share a text book may use discount code. BookShare, at registration.
